Cooperativa Sociale Itaca (Italy)
Itaca is a social cooperative that delivers social and health services in different areas, including youth policies and community development. It is very active in European projects that pursue innovation and internalisation of its services. Itaca is the lead partner of the project and a key actor in the experimentation phase.
APLOAD is a Evaluation and Social Planning services provider with a history of cooperation in European projects with IRES FVG. APLOAD will lead the validation of the experimentation of the game.
IRES FVG (Italy)
IRES FVG impresa sociale (The Institute of Economic and Social Research of Friuli Venezia Giulia Social Enterprise) is a non-profit association established in 1983; its main activities are vocational training courses and the analysis of local labour market by applying a gender perspective, in order to improve equal opportunities between men and women. IRES works in collaboration with Universitat de Valencia (Spain): both are involved in designing country-based scenarios of gender gaps in the labour market and educational system. IRES FVG will also participate in the experimentation of the game in the VET system.
MCBIT is the first youth center in the Bela krajina region (SE Slovenia), established in 2004, by the two most active youth associations in the region.
Both Zavod Nefiks and MCBIT have previously cooperated with Itaca and the EU, focusing on youth policies.
The Mediterranean Institute of Gender Studies (Cyprus)
MIGS is a Cyprus-based non-governmental organisation primarily focused on gender equality and women’s rights. MIGS works to eliminate all forms of discrimination against women through a combination of research, lobbying and advocacy, education and training, awareness-raising, as well as the provision of expertise and consultancy services. MIGS is responsible for research as well as communicating the aims and progress of the Free to Choose project to the wider public.
Opcionate is an association of professionals with more than 15 years of experience in gender equality related work as well as the design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of socio-educational projects. Formerly cooperated with Itaca on international projects. Opcionate leads monitoring and evaluation activities of the whole project.
Region Friuli Venezia Giulia (Italy)
Region Friuli Venezia Giulia provides the public policy framework for Free to Choose: Regarding the dissemination, along with Region FVG it elaborates guidelines in regional youth policies focusing on overcoming gender stereotypes based on project results.
Zavod Nefiks is a youth NGO based in Ljubljana, implementing activities in Slovenia, with a main target of people aged 15 to 30, and specific programmes on career guidance. Zavod Nefiks will participate in coordination with MCBIT in the experimentation of the game.
UNIMORE (University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, Italy)
UNIMORE is responsible for the game development aspect of the Free to Choose project.
