A comparative analysis of the Free to Choose project country reports.

The questions guiding our research have been: How do gender-based stereotypes affect the self-identity of youngsters and their relevant educational and career paths? Are young people aware of these influences? What are the main factors influencing the reproduction of gender stereotypes? How do adults (counsellors in particular) develop and implement strategies to combat restrictive influences? This report presents the results of the comparative analysis. The detailed results for each country are available in the individual country reports.
